I went to this little even called Anime Vegas, which by the way: IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME! If you're a fan of anime and manga this place really is for you. I didn't see a single cosplay that wasn't great either! I personally didn't have any time to dress up, mainly because I was saving all my money to spend on this awesome convention. Anime Vegas is just a chance for anime nerds to go and geek out and get some rare stuff that normally you'd have to get online. Also, which is the best part, you get to meet people that are really active in the anime/manga/video game community!
I'll have a video with all the awesome pics and stuff in it (plus my little personal message) but in the meantime, here's just some of the loot I got while there! :)
There was a lot more too, but I'll save that for the video I think.
Anyways, so then I met some great people and got autographs. List: Chris Smith (worked with both Skyrim and World of Warcraft), Justin Cook (who worked on Dragon Ball Z), Jonathan Klein (who worked on Street Fighter) and finally, Jerry Jewell (voiced Kyo in Fruits Basket)!!! Seriously, all of those people were just awesome. I think the greatest thing about the signing too was that they weren't jerks. Period. I've been to a lot of places (like concerts and stuff like that) where you go to get an autograph and the person is a total duche. But really, these guys were super sweet! I was so excited especially to meet Jerry because Fruits Basket was the first manga I read and has been one of my favorites since then.
